Any great stories about you and a horse?
I absolutely love horses to death..I love hearing life changing, sweet, funny extc.. stories about horses…anything you can think of will do!!
so i got my pony 2 years ago (well april 1st 2007) and so well what happened was that i half leased a horse. and well they never told me that he was going to go back to his owner after three months of half leasing him without any notice whatsoever to us…so my mom realized how much i LOVED horses and that i was ready for my own horse so we started looking for our own horse. the first horse i tried out was this lil quarter horse pony named zack who was adorable. the only problem was that he had a sensitive mouth and it was extremely hard for me to stop him from not galloping so he was out. the next horse we got was extremely crazy. he would hiccup when we put his girth on. he WOULD NOT let us touch him. he had many other issues such as bucking when i rode him but after i lunged him he was a good boy sorta. well until i started jumping, he bucked me off in a full speed gallop ran into the gate and i flew over the gate (yes that hurt) and so i got back on and he galloped around the ring AS FAST AS HE COULD GO again two times and so he went back. then well my trainer didn’t want to look at this horse my mom told her about but eventually she did. my mom knew the owner of the horse because the mother owned the hair shop she went to. so well we went there. her name was snickers and she’s as sweet as a snickers bar!!! basically it was love at first sight! the moment i saw her i fell in love with her. i got on her and fell in love with her even more. even after i went home i kept asking my mom if we were going to get her. then on april 1st, i went to the barn and my mom was like who do you think you’re going to ride? (i was riding barn horses) and so then i walked into the horse i half leased stall and saw snickers there! i kinda went into shock and then it was love all over again. i love her so much and she is my dream come true! i can tell her anything and she will perk her ears up and turn her head toward me! she takes care of me just as much as i take care of her! she even gives me hugs! she’s the sweetest girl i have ever met and i love her to death (still in love with her and will always be). she has changed my life in so many ways and has taught me to love everyone
